Refrigerated rentals in Orlando, Florida.
About 334,000 people live in Orlando, a city in Orange County, Florida. The city limits take in about 129.6 square miles, or roughly 2,576 residents per square mile. As the county seat of Orange County, Orlando is where much of the county's public business happens. Orlando ranks 4th in Florida by population among 411 incorporated places. Orlando is about 2 miles from Belle Isle and 9 miles from Winter Park, which helps when a job spans more than one site.
Census estimates put the population up about 8.4% since 2020. Ground elevation is about 110 feet above sea level. In Florida, hospitality and event venues and tourism and resorts are regular reasons to rent refrigerated trailers or containers, from the Panhandle, Central Florida, and the Gulf and Atlantic coasts. Typical Orlando rentals support hospital systems, distribution centers, hotels, food processors, and stadium or convention events. Florida sites can face hurricane-season outages and summer heat, so we ask Orlando customers about power and backup plans early. Hurricane season is a common reason to reserve cold storage before a storm and keep it through restoration. We review those details for each Orlando address.

Severe Storm Produced a 69-Mph Gust at Orlando International
A thunderstorm intensified west of Orlando International Airport on August 9, 2018, then moved across the airfield. The airport's automated station measured gusts of 60 mph and, a few minutes later, 69 mph.
A trained spotter also reported downed power lines about three miles west of the airport. The wind and utility damage would make conditions on the ground relevant to commercial movements, including refrigerated trailers. The two airport readings captured the storm's strength as it crossed the Orlando area during the late afternoon.

Second Harvest completes an upgrade to protect frozen food supplies
Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida reported a completed refrigeration-related upgrade at its Orlando distribution center in June 2026. The project installed a thermal energy storage system to support the commercial freezer, backed by $200,000 in federal funding. Congressman Maxwell Frost visited the finished installation on June 22, ahead of the food bank’s June 25 announcement.
The system stores thermal energy during off-peak hours and was designed to keep temperatures steadier during interruptions. That adds protection to cold storage holding food destined for community distribution. Second Harvest also expected energy savings that could support food purchases and hunger-relief programs. The project’s significance lay in strengthening an existing operation, without requiring the food bank to build an entirely new warehouse.

FusionFest builds a downtown weekend around shared food and culture
Orlando’s 2025 FusionFest placed food alongside music, dance, visual art and spoken word during its November 29–30 downtown celebration. The organizer’s vendor materials described a free, family-friendly festival drawing on more than 110 cultures in Central Florida. Food sellers were required to offer at least one item priced at $4, creating an accessible starting point for sampling different cuisines.
The practical work began before opening day: vendors had to load in on Friday, November 28, and stay through Sunday’s close. For perishable menus, portable cold storage fits into that setup alongside tents, power cords and cooking equipment. Vendors handled their own customer payments, while a separate token system covered purchases by participating artists and volunteers.

Orlando refrigerated trailer rental FAQs.
How much does a refrigerated trailer rental cost in Orlando?
Refrigerated trailer pricing is starting at $1,295 for a 1–6 day rental for the smallest trailer, and the same starting prices apply to Orlando projects. Every trailer and container has starting prices listed by rental length, from 1–6 days to more than 3 months. Delivery, setup, site work, taxes, and the complete rental term are confirmed in your quote.
How quickly can a refrigerated trailer reach Orlando?
The estimated delivery window to Orlando is 5 to 6 hours. Final timing depends on availability, the route, site access, and your start date, and is confirmed in your quote. For urgent needs, call 888 385-5513 for 24/7 emergency deployment coordination.
Can you also serve Belle Isle and other nearby places?
Yes. Places such as Belle Isle (about 2 miles), Winter Park (about 9 miles), and Maitland (about 11 miles) can be planned together with a Orlando rental, and the team can review one project that spans more than one address. Confirm each site's access, power, and dates in your quote.
What if a cooler fails or the power goes out in Orlando?
Call 888 385-5513 any time. Emergency deployment is coordinated 24/7: share the Orlando address, the holding temperature, the quantity of product, and whether power is available, and the team will confirm the quickest workable option. Florida sites can face hurricane-season outages and summer heat, so ask about generator connections before the product is at risk.
Do I need a permit to place a refrigerated trailer in Orlando?
Requirements depend on the exact site and the local jurisdiction, so check with Orlando's town or city office and Orange County before dispatch. Unit dimensions, electrical needs, and placement details are shared with you to support that conversation, and any required approval stays your responsibility to confirm.
Should I choose a trailer or a container for my Orlando site?
Compare the stock you need to hold, the required temperature, the placement area, and door access. Trailers and containers are separate formats, and a mobile kitchen or dishwashing trailer can be reviewed alongside the refrigerated unit when the site also needs cooking or ware washing.
