LA 501’s Iron Branch Crossing Returned to Service After Culvert Replacement

An updated DOTD notice dated March 16, 2022, announced that Iron Branch Bridge on LA 501 was open to all traffic. The Winn Parish work involved reinforced-concrete box-culvert replacement on the section between LA 126 and LA 1232.

For refrigerated trailers traveling through the area, reopening removed the construction closure described in the older part of the announcement. That earlier notice had scheduled work to begin in November 2021 and listed detours while the crossing was unavailable. The March update changed that access status, returning vehicles to the LA 501 crossing after the replacement work.

A project in Sikes starts with the same practical questions: which functions need to remain available, how the trailer can reach its placement, and how utilities will connect.

  1. Share the site and storage needs

Send the address, start date, expected rental length, what needs to stay cold, its holding temperature, and the approximate quantity.

  2. Review the unit and site requirements

We match a refrigerated trailer or container to the product and space, then review power, placement, access, and any mobile kitchen or dishwashing support.

  3. Confirm the quote and delivery plan

Availability, rental terms, delivery, and setup are confirmed in your quote before the unit is scheduled.
